It's one thing to be inspired and painting for the sheer joy of it, and another to really question the 'why' and 'what' an image is translating.
I've had some amazing opportunities the past few months to share my work on the ship the MV Explorer, also known as the Semester at Sea ship, during the Enrichment Voyage in Dec.-January. I was invited to be a workshop leader and artist in residence with the Lucidity at Sea program, and pioneer a relationship between transformational festivals and the established organization of ISE Institute for Shipboard Education. It was an amazing 16 day journey through the Caribbean, and we've been invited back with flying colors:)
I've just returned to Los Angeles after a month long tour in Australia, where I went from exhibiting, painting and teaching at festivals Rainbow Serpent and Earth Frequency to a 5 day painting retreat at the most epic property of Paradise One resort right outside of Byron Bay. I very much look forward to returning to Paradise and continuing to blossom the relationship with the amazing land and people of Australia!!! So amazing....
And now... what lies ahead?! The production of the clothing line is getting close to being finished and it's finally time to share it with the world!
And ... Colombia is calling me back mid March ... to exhibit alongside Alex Sastoque in an expanded exhibition of the show we had in Congress in November. More on this coming soon...
