About the Workshop

This 5-day intensive workshop at Temple of Visions Gallery in Los Angeles, taught jointly by renowned artists Michael Divine and Amanda Sage, offers students insight into the Misch-technique, glazing and working with dimension, elements of the creative process, and drawing out a personal visual language.

This workshop focuses on each students personal abilities and helps them to learn how to bring forth a realized idea or vision onto the canvas via tools and techniques that stem from classical artistic applications. Amanda and Michael teach tools and methods that students can utilize to better accomplish their artistic goals.

Creating beautiful art is a matter of moving harmoniously with the natural rhythms of mind and body and understanding that the canvas is just one more aspect of that nature. In order to “see” what is there, we must be open to it, allowing for a natural predisposition towards inspiration.

This workshop is a perfect introduction, and or expansion of technique, for the beginner, intermediate, & advanced artist.
